Overview

  • Assists Head Coach in managing and executing administrative and athletic functions of coaching a collegiate team. Establishes and maintains team rules and expectations. Coaches, trains, and develops individual players and their skills. Recruits prospective student-athletics, coordinates visits, and plans travel itineraries for the team. Reviews recorded video and creates scouting reports. Manages and creates content to promote the team and the University and engages with alumni.

Develops strategy for future opponents and analyzes film and creates scouting reports. Recruits prospective student-athletes, communicates via email, phone, and in-person at recruiting events. Arranges travel plans and itineraries for the team including making hotel reservations, meals, equipment, and practice schedule. Updates and maintains social media content. Posts stories and videos to ensure a strong interactive presence for the sport. Monitors student-athletes’ academic progress. Reinforces team and University rules and expectations.
