Certified Child Life Specialist CDH Pediatric Support Full-time Days

The child life specialist provides therapeutic, developmental, recreational, and diversional play activities for pediatric patients. They support the child's development of personal coping strategies to enhance adjustment to the hospital experience.

A bachelor's degree in hospital play education, child development, or psychology is required, along with one to two years of experience as a child life specialist preferred. Effective communication skills in english and basic computer knowledge are also necessary.
