This role provides exposure to the healthcare environment by observing UAMS employees or faculty members in approved settings, while maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality, safety, and professional conduct standards. The Student Shadower is not an employee of UAMS and does not perform work duties or receive compensation.

- Role: Observation only; no hands-on patient care or performance of duties typically assigned to UAMS employees or healthcare providers Participation is limited to a department-approved timeframe not to exceed a total of 32 hours. Access is restricted to approved locations and activities as determined by the department.
