Chaplain

The chaplain is responsible for providing spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring they can explore spiritual concerns and find peace as they approach death. This includes assessing spiritual needs, developing care plans, and facilitating memorial services.

Candidates must have a master of divinity degree or equivalent, along with two units of clinical pastoral education and at least two years of experience in crisis situations related to death and grief. Endorsement by a recognized denomination is also required.
