Student Nurse Extern 60100

The student nurse extern works under the direct supervision of a clinical preceptor to achieve nurse extern competencies. They are responsible for providing care to patients while gaining practical experience in a clinical setting.

Candidates must be enrolled in an nc state board of nursing approved school of nursing and have completed their junior year. They should possess nurse aid i and ii certifications, aha cpr certification, and demonstrate effective communication skills.
