Lifeguard - City of Spokane Valley - Outdoor Pools

The lifeguard is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and engaging aquatics atmosphere while monitoring the natatorium and responding to emergencies. They must enforce safety rules, perform equipment checks, and provide first aid as needed.

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold current certifications in lifeguarding, cpr/Aed, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens. Strong communication skills and the ability to relate to diverse groups are also required.
