Program Aides support the management of the office and assist in maintaining a smooth operation of the Summer Camp program. They are responsible for record-keeping, monitoring youth groups, and enforcing program rules and safety guidelines.
$19/hr Roles, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties Role, Responsibilities, and Essential Duties Office Tasks (Manage attendance records, Data Entry, Typing, Copying, Manage Program/Office Supplies) Maintenance Tasks (Light, Sweeping, mopping, dusting, general cleaning) Support all areas of Summer Camp Program Enforce program rules Know and enforce ALL emergency procedures and follow all safety guidelines associated with all program areas Foster a learning environment that stimulates children’s creative growth and development Attend staff training, weekly meetings and supervision meetings Other duties as required and assigned by Program Director, ADED and/or DED Demonstrate professionalism & leadership Qualifications/Educational Requirements Must be at least 16 years of age Must be able to work between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday for training sessions Must have ability to work collaboratively Must have a sense of humor and a passion for youth development Have energy, motivation and skills needed to work independently Comfortably engaging youth Experience or interest in Education/Social Work a plus Must be able to pass background check including Fingerprint Screening.
