Specialized Education Assistant

The specialized education assistant assists the teacher in achieving teaching objectives by working with individual students or small groups. Responsibilities include reinforcing skills introduced by the teacher and maintaining a well-Organized learning environment.

Candidates must have an associate's degree or two years of college, or a passing score on the parapro assessment test along with one year of experience working with children. Certification in cpr and first aid is also required or must be obtained.
