Special Education Assistant

The special education assistant assists special education teachers in instructing and supervising students with disabilities. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, supervising children, and reinforcing classroom lessons.

Candidates must have an associate's degree or two years of college education, or pass the parapro assessment test with one year of experience working with children. Certification in cpr and first aid is also required.
