Academic Advisor III

The academic advisor iii is responsible for providing advanced academic advising and program support for undergraduate and graduate students, ensuring their success and timely degree completion. This includes collaborating with faculty and staff, monitoring student progress, and assisting with course registration and graduation requirements.

A bachelor's degree is required, along with either 6 months of experience as an academic advisor ii at gsu or five years of related experience. A master's degree in higher education, counseling, or administration is preferred, along with strong knowledge of academic policies and advising practices.
