Child Life Specialist

This position is responsible for providing developmentally appropriate play and activities to help pediatric patients and their families cope with the stress of illness or injury. The role also involves advocating for the needs of children and families and serving as a resource for other professionals.

A bachelor’s degree in child life, human development, or a related field is required, along with the completion of a 400-Hour child life internship. Child life certification or eligibility to apply for certification is preferred.
