Description of the Position

Duties and Responsibilities

To work with a German faculty member or members; to assist the faculty member/s in preparing course materials, reviewing homework, correcting quizzes; to prepare and staff bi-weekly Help Sessions for students enrolled in German 231-232; to carry out special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

(Education/Experience/Skills): Preference will be given to students who have successfully completed at least one German course at the 250-level or above.

Minimum Qualifications

completion of German 232 with a grade of B plus or better. Ability to maintain confidentiality, abide by FERPA data privacy, and work with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and strong German language skills. Enthusiasm for promoting and teaching German. Skill in using Google application suite.
