Job description
- Las Clinicas del Norte (LCDN) is looking for licensed LCSW or LPCC to apply for Clinical Therapist positions with Las Clinicas del Norte.
- We are also accepting applications from LMSW, LMHC and LMF with the understanding that applicants have 2-3 years of clinical supervision prior to testing for independent licensure.
- We currently have openings in our Community Clinics and School Based Programs.
- LCDN is a qualified federally designated Frontier Community Health Center/Medically Underserved Area allowing providers to access both state and federal loan repayment programs.
- LCDN's mission is to provide culturally competent care to the underserved and medically indigent patients in in a remote part of Northern New Mexico.
- LCDN operates four community clinic sites in Abiquiu, Ojo Caliente, El Rito and Los Alamos, all strategically located to provide maximum access to the area's rural residents and School Based Health Centers in Pojoaque, Gallina and Ojo Caliente, NM.
Daily Responsibilities Intake, diagnose, evaluate, develop treatment plan, and monitor progress for patients to include individuals, couples, families, and groups Establish working relationships with sponsoring, advisory, and related services agencies Promote organization by ensuring the understanding of program services available to clients Enforce rules, regulations, and legal requirements with clients and document events of the therapeutic process Assist clients in obtaining services by initiating referrals to community agencies and resources Work hours: Four (10) hour workdays
Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling or equivalent New Mexico LCSW, LPCC, or LMSW required Two years of experience in community-based behavioral health services Ability to work in/with a multicultural population Demonstrate competence in preparing client documentation in accordance with generally accepted clinical standards Bilingual preferred Background and reference checks required
