About the Internship Trillium Family Services is seeking motivated undergraduate students for clinical internship placements beginning June 2026. This internship offers hands-on, on-site experience working directly with children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma and mental health challenges. Interns will be embedded within care teams and work under close clinical supervision in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support clinical teams in providing in-person care to youth and families
- Participate in treatment planning and implementation
- Assist with clinical documentation
- Engage with clients using trauma-informed approaches
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and practice family engagement skills
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an undergraduate program that requires internship or clinical hours
- Ability to participate in an on-site internship placement
- Availability for placement in one of the following locations: Corvallis, Portland, Salem, Bend, or The Dalles
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with children (professional or volunteer)
- Familiarity with professional work environments
- At least 1 year of leadership experience or program planning
