Maternal OB Clinical Nursing Faculty

Responsibilities include implementing the college's philosophy and curriculum through clinical teaching, planning clinical experiences, and providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students in an inpatient setting. The instructor must also develop written clinical assignments, provide documented feedback, and maintain current knowledge of clinical site policies.

Candidates must possess a master's or doctoral degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution and hold an unencumbered professional rn nursing license in virginia, with an illinois rn license being required to teach all courses. A minimum of two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse, along with active bls certification, is also mandatory.
