Core responsibilities

The speech language pathologist evaluates and treats residents/Patients with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities. They develop treatment plans and provide therapy services in a sub-Acute/Skilled nursing facility setting.

Requirements summary

A bachelor of science degree in speech language pathology and a current license in speech language therapy are required. Six months of experience in a long-Term care environment is preferred.
