Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher will implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment for head start children. They are responsible for observing student behavior, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with co-Teaching staff to support social and cognitive development.

Candidates should have at least one year of preschool classroom experience or equivalent and possess strong communication and listening skills. A valid first aid and cpr certificate is required or must be obtained within six months, along with passing a background check and health screenings.
