Summary The Certified Athletic Trainer (AT) reports to the assigned Sports Medicine Leader. The AT will be assigned to a high school and provide outreach/community-based point of service for sports related care, coverage and rehabilitation, and prevention, referral and marketing for musculoskeletal injuries and sports related ailments within a defined environment for athletes. Graduate of an accredited college with a BS/BA. (Masters degree in Athletic Training preferred). Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC) and Licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the SCLLR Board of Medical Examiners. Must be able to adjust communication both verbal and non-verbal to interact appropriately and effectively with a wide variety of age groups including school age adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Weekend and evening hours to cover practices, games, tournaments, and special events.
