Special Education Teacher (Functional Skills)

The teacher will design and deliver individualized, standards-Aligned instruction focused on functional academics, life skills, and social-Emotional development for students with significant needs. They are also responsible for managing ieps, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with staff and families to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field and possess a valid tennessee teaching license with a special education comprehensive endorsement. Additionally, at least 2 years of experience in a functional skills or self-Contained classroom setting is required.
