Lactation Consultant- Baby & Me Support Center, Part Time

The lactation consultant promotes breastfeeding and assists mothers in achieving their personal breastfeeding goals through consultation with inpatient and outpatient clients and health professionals. This role involves developing and implementing standards of care, providing education, and analyzing data related to breastfeeding initiation and continuation rates.

Candidates must possess a certified lactation counselor (Clc) certification or have completed a lactation consultant certification program, with international board certified lactation consultant (Ibclc) certification required within one year of hire. A minimum of one year of lactation experience is preferred, along with 3-5 years in maternal/Child health.
