Lactation Consultant- Baby & Me Support Center, Part Time

The lactation consultant promotes and coordinates patient care and educational activities related to lactation, providing consultation to both inpatient and outpatient clients. They also develop standards of care and implement breastfeeding education activities in accordance with national standards.

Candidates should have a certified lactation counselor (Clc) certification or have completed a lactation consultant certification program, with an international board certified lactation consultant (Ibclc) certification required within one year of hire. A minimum of one year of lactation experience and three to five years in maternal/Child health is preferred.
