Lifeguard

The lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions and constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas. They must respond to emergencies and maintain effective relationships with members and staff.

Candidates must have ymca lifeguard or american red cross lifeguard certification and current certifications in bls, basic first aid, and oxygen administration. They must also be at least 15 years old and maintain all required certifications.
