Lifeguard

The lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions and constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas. They must respond to emergencies, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety rules and ymca policies.

Candidates must have ymca lifeguard or american red cross lifeguard certification and current certifications in basic first aid and bls. They should also be at least 15 years old and maintain all required certifications and trainings.
