SpEd Paraprofessional Communication Access Facilitator

This role involves performing transcriptionist duties to ensure students with significant hearing loss can access the curriculum, while also functioning as a sign and/Or oral communication facilitator for non-Verbal and/Or deaf/Hard of hearing students in various settings. The facilitator supports students through oral and auditory interaction, utilizing technology and communication devices under teacher supervision.

Required qualifications include experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting, current first aid/Cpr certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include an associate's degree or equivalent college credit, keyboarding/Transcription experience, and signing experience.
