Substance Abuse Counselor

The counselor implements and maintains the trainee employee assistance program by conducting substance abuse assessments, individual and group counseling, and prevention education. They also act as a liaison between the center and community resources while maintaining confidential records and collaborating with staff to support a drug-Free lifestyle.

Candidates must hold a state certification as a substance abuse counselor and possess at least two years of experience in a related field. A valid driver's license and the ability to design and implement substance abuse intervention programs are also required.
