Job description

  • Help young men in a therapeutic setting as they progress on their healing journey. _______________________________________________________________________ Part-time | Monday-Thursday | 3:30-8:30 pm | $22-25/hour depending on experience and certification This position is ideal for, but not limited to: a retired teacher who still wants to work part time a parent wanting to work opposite of their spouse's 9-5 a current teacher looking for more opportunities _______________________________________________________________________ As our English Teacher, you will provide traditional classroom instruction in an unique setting to a diverse student body.
  • Discovery Ranch for Boys is a relationship-based residential treatment center.
  • We use evidence-based practices and emphasize experiential therapy.
  • You will work as part of our larger team in providing integrated care services to our students, who struggle with emotional, behavioral, and substance use disorders.
  • Mornings are devoted to therapy work while school is held in the afternoon, the ideal time for academic engagement in adolescents.
  • We need an engaged, creative, and dedicated teacher who sees the value in our students and will help them see it too as they continue their education.
