Swim Instructor (substitute)

• About the role HealthFitness is looking for Swim Instructors to join our aquatics team at a vibrant community client site in West Hartford, CT!
• This on‑call/substitute role is ideal for students, recent grads, or anyone looking for flexible work that fits around school, another job, or an active lifestyle.
• You’ll jump in as needed to help teach, motivate, and keep swimmers safe when our regular instructors are out.
• If you love the water, enjoy working with people, and want a job that’s fun, flexible, and meaningful—this could be a great fit!
• Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
• Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.
• Minimum Requirements Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Compensation

$18 - $25/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
