Registered Nurse

The registered nurse is responsible for administering first aid, medication, and specialized medical treatments to students and staff. They also conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and serve as a health liaison between the school, families, and medical providers.

Candidates must hold a bachelor of science in nursing or a diploma from an accredited nursing school and possess a current tennessee registered professional nurse license. A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, with school nursing experience preferred.
