Key Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment where children can learn, play, and grow
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with early childhood education best practices
- Support the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool children
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents through daily updates, mobile apps, and in-person conversations
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Collaborate with center leadership to support enrollment, retention, and family engagement
- Follow all state childcare licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of childcare or teaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid Certification required
- Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth
