Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment where children can learn, play, and grow
  • Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with early childhood education best practices
  • Support the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool children
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents through daily updates, mobile apps, and in-person conversations
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Collaborate with center leadership to support enrollment, retention, and family engagement
  • Follow all state childcare licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • College coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months of childcare or teaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required
  • Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their growth
