Day Habilitation Specialist - Program Without Walls- Levittown

The day habilitation specialist assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals and fostering independence. Responsibilities include providing emotional support, managing behavioral issues, assisting with personal hygiene, and transporting participants to activities.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a clean, valid nys driver's license. The ability to assist with lifting and transferring adults is required, along with the willingness to complete mandatory training in amap and scip.
