About the role

The Behavior Intervention Specialist provides direct one-on-one support to children within the Nassau and Suffolk County Special Education Program. They are responsible for implementing treatment plans and contributing to the educational development of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess at least 2 years of relevant work experience in a special education setting. A valid NYS certification such as TA or RBT is required for the role.
