Core responsibilities
The transition coordinator supports students and participants with disabilities in achieving employment and independence through vocational programming. They collaborate with the office of vocational rehabilitation (Ovr), local employers, and families to coordinate career readiness and community-Based experiences.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, education, social work, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with ovr is required, along with a valid driver’s license.
