Teen Center Program Specialist

Primary function

• The Teen Center Staff plans, implements, and supervises activities for teens, supporting their personal growth, leadership skills, and positive decision-making. Staff will help create an inclusive and engaging environment where teens feel safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. Teen Center Staff will work with groups of 5–20 teens at a time, assisting with a variety of programs while promoting responsibility, teamwork, and positive social interactions.

• REQUIRED: Must be 21 years or older High School diploma or GED required Experience working with teens Ability to lead and supervise teens safely Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills Knowledge of youth development principles Valid State Driver’s License

Requirements

Candidates must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check & Drug Test Training: Boys & Girls Club Basics & Safety 101 to be completed the first week of hire 30 Day - Complete the Milestone 1 trainings 60 Day - Complete Milestone 2 trainings Attend Monthly trainings for positive youth development

Job Status: Part Time – 20-30 hours/week

• Range: Starting at $15.25–$16.25 per hour, depending on experience
