  • Pay Commensurate with Experience | W-2 Household Employee | 6-Month Commitment Required A family is seeking a reliable, professional nanny/caregiver to provide consistent, high-quality care for two children, ages 4 and 1.
  • This position is ideal for someone who views childcare as a profession and is seeking a longer-term role with a minimum 6-month commitment.
  • This is not a casual babysitting position.
  • We are seeking a nurturing, engaged caregiver who values child development, consistency, and relationship-based care.
  • Schedule Monday–Friday 11 am - 3 pm Pay & Employment Type Pay commensurate with experience W-2 household employee (taxes withheld) Position Overview The nanny/caregiver will provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care while supporting early learning, emotional regulation, and daily routines.
  • The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on activities, outdoor play, and creating a calm, structured environment with minimal screen time.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, attentive, and nurturing care for two young children Plan and engage children in age-appropriate, hands-on activities, including: Sensory play and creative crafts Montessori-style learning (numbers, colors, exploration) Encourage outdoor play and exploration, such as park visits, flying kites, and nature activities Maintain a low-to-no screen time environment Support daily routines with patience, consistency, and positive guidance Assist with child-related tasks and light organization only, including: Tidying play areas and activity spaces Assisting children with age-appropriate clean-up Light organization of toys, books, and learning materials Children’s dishes and activity cleanup Ideal Candidate Identifies as a professional nanny or caregiver, not a casual or entry-level babysitter Has demonstrated professional childcare experience providing structured, consistent care Kind, patient, calm, and emotionally attuned Confident managing routines, transitions, and age-appropriate behavior Experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children in a private family setting Bilingual preferred Comfortable working in a home where parents work from home Dependable, punctual, and reliable with a strong work ethic Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months Enjoys child-led, play-based learning and outdoor activities Requirements (Nevada-Compliant) Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare, nanny, or in-home caregiving experience (informal babysitting, family-only, or date-night experience does not meet this requirement) Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willingness to complete a background screening, in accordance with Nevada law Willingness to complete a DMV/MVR screening Valid driver’s license required Licensed and insured vehicle suitable for transporting children Reliable transportation CPR/AED/Pediatric First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to provide professional childcare or nanny references Work Environment Parents work from home and respect caregiver independence Supportive, organized household Focus on safety, consistency, learning, and outdoor exploration Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status under Nevada or federal law.
