Ex Ed Teacher

The exceptional education teacher is responsible for managing a caseload of students with disabilities, developing and implementing ieps, and providing academic and behavioral support. They must collaborate with general education teachers and service providers to ensure students have access to tier 1 instruction and meet their individual goals.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid tennessee teaching certification in special education with specific endorsements. Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities and knowledge of idea and state special education regulations are required.
