The Assistant Group Supervisor is responsible for supervising children and assisting the Lead Teacher with classroom management and lesson plan implementation. They also maintain daily records of activities, meals, and observations while ensuring compliance with DPW regulations.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and the ability to obtain necessary child abuse and criminal background clearances. While no experience is required, two years of experience working with children is preferred, along with the ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

The Assistant Group Supervisor at Learning Lighthouse Child Development Center will be responsible for supervising the children in their care while also assisting the Lead Teacher and Group Supervisor in managing the classroom. The number of children for which the Assistant Group Supervisor will be responsible will vary based on placement, accommodating operational needs as required.

Assuming responsibility for the classroom in the absence of the Lead Teacher or Group Supervisor.
Implementation of DPW rules and regulations within assigned classrooms. Assist in the supervision of children and helping children adjust, learn, and socialize.
Work Environment: This role involves working in a classroom within a childcare facility, requiring the use of standard childcare and office equipment.
