Preferred Qualifications

A doctoral degree in nursing or related field Evidence of excellence in teaching in nursing in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings Experience in teaching and an interest in innovative, engaged teaching methods Knowledgeable about inclusive pedagogy Experience in mentoring, precepting, or managing students’ clinical experiences Compensation and Benefits: Compensation for this position includes a starting 9-month salary between $60,500 - $63,000, commensurate with experience and degree. Summer salary may also be available. Benefits include health, life, and dental insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement programs. Other benefits may be available based on position. This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
