The Lower School Teaching Assistant provides instructional support to students in all grade levels, Kindergarten through Grade 5.

Responsibilities

Model and teach habits that help students grow in wisdom, compassion, and Christ-like maturity Support teachers in maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning Provide oversight of students during personalized learning blocks, ensuring a focused and productive environment Facilitate extension activities for students during personalized learning blocks, enriching and deepening their engagement with the curriculum Help students thrive as they develop strong relationships with God, others, ideas, and the world Know and love each student to promote their continued growth and development Monitor lunch and recess, supporting student safety and healthy interpersonal relationships Assist with arrival and dismissal, ensuring smooth and safe transitions for students and families Participate in meaningful, ongoing professional learning during regularly scheduled after school meetings and professional development days

Requirements
