Special Education Teacher, Cross Categorical Resource

Coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students while developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps). Monitors student progress, maintains classroom discipline, and collaborates with staff and parents to ensure educational needs are met.

Requires a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. Candidates must also possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and demonstrate knowledge of instructional practices and state/Federal special education policies.
