About the role

The classroom assistant will support teachers with daily classroom tasks, including cleanup and organizing materials. They will also serve as a positive role model for children and assist in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Childcare Classroom Assistant Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available $18.00 – $20.00 per hour We are seeking a warm, reliable, and team-oriented Classroom Assistant to support our childcare program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, assisting teachers, and contributing to a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines Support the supervision and safety of children at all times Help implement age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment Assist with meals, snacks, and transitions throughout the day Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Follow all licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications

Genuine passion for working with young children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and flexible Strong communication skills Must meet Washington State childcare licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain) CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be available to work between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
