The purpose of this position is to effectively conduct group swim lessons and individual swim lessons in a safe and responsible manner. Motivate members and guests to increase swim technique, comfort in the water are self-confidence. Other duties may be assigned as needed. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE: QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with aquatics industry Swimming proficiency Minimum of 1year instructing swim lessons preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision Minimum 16 years of age and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (includes CPR/First AID/AED for the Professional Rescuer); or Minimum 18 years of age and American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification High School diploma preferred For more information about Villa Sport, please visit our website at www.villasport.com. Candidates must have American Red Cross Lifeguard or First Aid/CPR/AED certification and be at least 16 or 18 years old depending on the certification. Previous experience instructing swim lessons is preferred.
