Upward Bound Tutor

Upward bound tutors conduct group tutoring sessions in core academic subjects to assist high school participants with course comprehension and academic success. They are responsible for maintaining attendance data, providing learning evaluations, and promoting effective study habits.

Applicants must have completed coursework in the subject area with a 3.0 or higher gpa and hold at least sophomore standing at a post-Secondary institution. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, and professional teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
