Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher provides individualized instruction based on iep goals and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to support student development. They are responsible for maintaining classroom safety, managing staff, and completing all required educational documentation.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in education and new york state certification in a relevant subject area with a special education extension. Experience working with diverse student populations and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and restraint are required.
