Preschool Teaching Assistant

The teaching assistant supports the lead teacher in delivering a hawaiian culture-Based education program and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson implementation, supervising student behavior, and maintaining open communication with families regarding student progress.

Candidates must possess an associate degree in early childhood education or equivalent college credits and at least 6 months of related experience. Current certifications in first aid, pediatric cpr, and food handling are also required.
