The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum while ensuring the safety and emotional well-being of children. Must be at least 16 years of age Relevant college classes in the field of Early Childhood Education are preferred. Maintain current CPR certification and First Aid throughout employment. Must know, understand and display full knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in the field of Early Childhood Education. Must be familiar with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Licensing Regulations. Must possess and utilize excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
