What You'll Do
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and discovery
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain health and safety standards, including meal service and classroom cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and York General policies
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED (Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred)
- A compassionate, reliable professional with a genuine passion for working with children
- Infant & Child CPR and First Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to complete required child care training within the first 6 months
- Successful completion of background checks and fingerprinting
