  • Pay: $21,500 – $48,000 Salary/year per the Archdiocese of Denver Teacher Pay Scale

Benefits

Part-time employees are not offered benefits other than what is required by law; Worker’s Compensation, FMLA unpaid leave, CO HFWA: 1 Hour of Sick Time per 30 hours worked Normal Working Hours: 18 – 22 hours per week, based on class schedule for the year. Teachers are contracted to work 185 days per year. A limited number of evenings for school related events are part of contract. Reports to: The Pastor, the Principal, and their representatives

Duties

· Prepare Lesson plans designed to implement stated goals that follow an established scope and sequence. · Collaborate with colleagues to establish student performance expectations that are clear and consistent · Maintain an efficient, functional and pleasant learning environment that sets a high standard of behavior, but is consistent and fair to all students · Support and enforce school-wide policies and rules · Effectively and respectfully communicate and maintain a positive relationship with parents, students, the Parish community, the principal, and other staff members · Model an attitude of service · Be timely with reporting of grades and incidents · Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor or Principal
