  • ServicesLocation: Chesterfield, VA, the Chesterfield Women’s Community Corrections Alternative Program (CCAP) facilitates social behavioral change, cognitive restructuring, and substance abuse treatment programming within an Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) environment to support personal growth and prepare the probationer/parolee to return to the community.

Schedule

  • Monday –
  • Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with a 1-hour unpaid meal break.
  • Rotating evening schedule, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm.
  • Pay rate: $24.04 per hour ($50,000 annually). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent license/certification are eligible for a pay rate of $27.88/hr. ($58,000 annually).

Facilitating psycho-educational and process groups as defined by the curriculum. Providing individual counseling according to timeframes established per program and documenting each session according to policies and procedures. Maintaining clinical records in accordance with contractual and Spectrum standards. Serving as a role model/mentor for program participants while maintaining professional boundaries and addressing participant issues, concerns, and inappropriate behaviors promptly and in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design. QualificationsQualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field is required. State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two (2) years of signing job description. Experience working in Therapeutic Community model programs is a plus. Experience working within a correctional or secure environment is a plus
