Tactile ASL Interpreter

The interpreter provides in-Person tactile interpreting services for the director of field services and other staff members. They also serve as an ssp/Conavigator and provide instruction in american sign language and pro-Tactile communication methods.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and possess north carolina interpreter transliterator licensure. Additionally, they must have passed the rid/Nad nic knowledge test and have two to three years of experience working with individuals who are deafblind.
