YMCA Summer Day Camp Assistant Counselor

The assistant counselor supports the lead counselor in managing a group of children and ensuring a safe, nurturing camp environment. They facilitate peer-To-Peer connections and maintain effective communication with parents and staff.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and capable of supervising children in both land and pool settings. Applicants are expected to complete required safety and abuse prevention training prior to their first shift.
